    AGDEVICO is very cognizant of the added burden that climate change places on people, therefore includes climate-smart agricultural practices in all land use planning. Through its experienced project implementation partners with experience in agri-business conceptualization and implementation, value chain process and business modeling, has the capability to undertake farm assessments, categorization of commodities and associated value chains, market access facilitation and off-take agreements and capacity building and skilling of previous disadvantaged groups.

    Through its partners, the service offerings have diversified into property valuations. Lease/sale facilitation and management, property development and feasibility studies, project , management, project including outsourcing and management, but is in fact based on network principle , whereby several highly qualified experienced specialists are interlinked comprising a collaboration of skills sets.

    Who Funds AGDEVICO?

    The organization is funded by the Shareholder and consultation fees generated and private sector funding and bank loans. Projects are also implemented on behalf of various government departments and donor agencies. Closer private sector involvement will benefit not only development in rural areas but also the economic empowerment of the KZN as a whole.

    AGDEVICO seeks to attract international attention and additional sources of assistance to strengthen our efforts towards establishing increasing numbers of thriving, self-sufficient rural communities in the KZN. If you create an environment where sufficient financial security exists, it creates stability and loyalty.

    Effective medium-term planning is possible, and the implementation of projects can be handled efficiently. To expand and address strategic objectives financial capacity is required. A long-term commitment of (KwaZulu Natal Government (KZNG) for sufficient funding will contribute significantly to results. Concerted efforts are made to solicit funding from the private sector and donor organizations.

    An appeal is made to donor organisations and grant makers to contribute to the programmes for poverty alleviation, rural development and capacity building.
